Kelly Osbourne spoke about her status as a “nepo baby” – a term that refers to the children of celebrities who have gained an advantage in the entertainment industry because of their famous parents.

In an interview with Rolling Stone published on Thursday (18), Kelly said that both her parents, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne, are “iconic”. “I’m a f– nepo baby and I’m proud to be a nepo baby. I’m proud of my parents’ achievements”, said Kelly.

“I think that what they have done is incredible, history-making. I go so far as to say both of them are iconic. But it doesn’t mean that I should automatically be given all of these opportunities”, she continued.
“My parents have always taught me that you have to prove yourself”, added Kelly. While his father, Ozzy, was already famous, the rest of the family achieved worldwide stardom in 2002 after taking part in the MTV reality show “The Osbournes”. Kelly has since tried her hand at several career paths, like music, fashion and acting.
