The Gunners thrashed Chris Wilder’s side 6-0 to record their seventh Premier League win in a row. Martinelli scored Arsenal’s third goal in just 15 minutes, but the fact that the Brazilian limped off during the second half will have been a concern for Arteta ahead of a series of crucial games.

England international Bukayo Saka also at half-time, and Arteta confirmed that the forward was “feeling sick” and was replaced by Fabio Vieira. “He was feeling a bit sick. As well we have Fabio who we needed to give minutes. It was a great opportunity”, said the manager.
“Then we had a little issue with Gabi Martinelli. He had a slight cut in his foot. We need to wait and see how it is”, added Arteta. The forward could be a doubt for the Premier League game against Brentford on Saturday (9).
