Christian Horner said that the allegations against him are a “distraction” for the team.
Horner is the subject of an internal investigation following complaints from a female colleague. The allegations are of inappropriate and controlling behavior. He spoke about the situation during the launch of Red Bull’s new F1 car for the 2024 season on Thursday (15).

“Firstly, I obviously deny the allegations that have been made”, said Horner in an interview with BBC Sport. “But I’m going through a process and fully respect it. Of course it is a distraction for the team but the team are very together”, he added.
The team boss also said that it was “business as normal focusing on preparing for the season ahead”. He also said that he had the full support of all the owners of Red Bull. The company is 51% owned by the Thai Yoovidhya family and 49% by the family of the late Dietrich Mateschitz in Austria.
“We are one team. We are one group. The shareholders have been incredibly supportive of the team”, said Horner. When asked if he was the right person to lead the team he answered: “Absolutely. I’ve done it for 20 years and have no doubts about that”.
