“To avoid any misunderstanding, the fact that we have a race in Madrid does not necessarily mean the end of our partnership with Barcelona in the future. Looking ahead, we are in talks to extend our collaboration with Barcelona, with whom we maintain a solid relationship,” said Stefano Domenicali.

With the great advancement and performance achieved by Fernando Alonso, from Aston Martin, and Carlos Sainz, from Ferrari, Formula 1 has been increasingly intensifying in other places in Spain and, according to reports, the country’s audience and interest in the races has been growing considerably to the point of an increase of 84% compared to last year.

“Spain was a market that, just a few years ago, was not at the center of our vision. Now it is very important. It’s a good problem, having multiple cities, some in the same country, wanting to host the Grand Prix. It shows the value of our proposal, but we need to stay focused on the reason for our success and ensure that we are not complacent”, concluded the businessman.
