“I’m part of the Cavendish group for the Tour and I can’t wait for us to start racing. When we went to the training camp in Colombia and then started testing the train in races, we will have an idea of how we are going to work”, said Davide Ballerini in an interview with the vehicle BiciPro.
Astana Qazaqstan has been looking for innovations for the new season and previously announced that it had hired Mark Renshaw to join the team in his role as sporting director. The new coach will work constantly with Mark Cavendish and his team.
Mark Cavendish’s return to professional sport was shared at the beginning of the year, in which the athlete reportedly came out of retirement to compete for another year on the WorldTour. As a big bet, the Astana Qazaqstan team is developing plans and structures to lead them to victory.
