The length of the new contract was not revealed by the Italian team. The announcement was made on Ferrari’s Instagram account. “I’m very happy to know that I’ll be wearing the Scuderia Ferrari suit for many more seasons”, said Leclerc on the video.

The Monegasque driver made his F1 debut in 2018 with Sauber. He joined Ferrari the following year, alongside four-time champion Sebastian Vettel. Leclerc won the first two races of his career at the end of that season, the Belgian and Italian Grand Prix.
With Ferrari Leclerc has already yielded five wins, 30 podiums and 23 pole positions. For the 2024 season, he will continue to have Carlos Sainz as his teammate. F1 returns on March 2, 2024 with the Bahrain Grand Prix, and the pre-season will take place between February 23 and 25.
