Romano revealed this Wednesday (17), that Reguilon is on his way to medical tests with the team, and then the deal could be signed. Also according to the expert, “Reguilon joins on straight loan”, and “there will be NO option to buy as Spanish LB will return to Tottenham in June”.

Reguilon spent the first half of the season on loan at Manchester United, but the deal was terminated by the team this January. He made 12 appearances for United, before boss Erik ten Hag decided to activate a break clause in the deal.
The left-back joined Tottenham from Real Madrid in 2020, and spent last season on loan at Atletico Madrid. At Brentford, boss Thomas Frank wants an experienced left-back, and Reguilon is the attacking option for him.
