Head coach Mike McDaniel commented after the game: “In hindsight, I wouldn’t want to see him on the field knowing he would get hurt, but I understand that’s part of the job.”
Through 16 games this season, Chubb recorded 68 tackles, 11 sacks and forced 6 fumbles. Despite the uncertainty surrounding the playoffs, Miami is still in contention for the top spot in the AFC East. The outcome will be determined next week in the clash between the Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills.
