Strikerz Inc., developer, and Xten Limited, publisher, shared on the social networks of UFL, a promising competitor to eFootball and EA Sports FC, the news that renowned football player Cristiano Ronaldo has invested US$40 million in the game.

The celebratory post announced: “Here we go! Cristiano Ronaldo joins the UFL as an investor! We are excited to collaborate at the UFL to create a fair, skill-first game for football fans around the world.”

In addition to Cristiano Ronaldo, the game’s cast of ambassadors includes stars Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Alex Zinchenko and Roberto Firmino. Although there is still no set release date, the game has been in the testing phase since September.

UFL, a free-to-play football game, will offer players the opportunity to create their own football clubs. The launch is scheduled to take place on PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
