Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins says he plans to return for Week 13 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Higgins has missed the past three games, due to a hamstring injury he suffered in practice on November 8. He said the problem arose when he went to try a through ball during training and got off balance. “I thought it could have been a little strain or something like that. But obviously, [we] went in and got the pictures and it was a little worse than we thought”, said the wide receiver about the injury.

One year into his contract, Higgins hasn’t been very successful, as injuries have limited his production to 328 receiving yards on 27 receptions with two touchdowns in seven games. The Bengals had already re-signed quarterback Joe Burrow and linebacker Logan Wilson in the offseason, but with Higgins they did not agree on an extension.
Besides his uncertain future, Higgins said that his contract situation will not dictate when he plays again. “My health is way more important than any other [thing], you know what I’m saying?. My thing was I want to get healthy so I can be 100 percent to go out there and play at 100 percent to help my team come out with a W”, said the wide receiver.
