The information was published on Real Madrid’s social media, in an official statement, revealing that his contract will go until June 30, 2027. Vinicius’ contract was set to expire next year.

The Brazilian player joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018, in a £38m deal. He was 18 years old at the time. In a clip posted on Real’s social media, Vinicius talked about the renewal. “Hello Madrid fans, I am very happy to renew my contract. It is a dream for me. I hope I can continue here for many years, scoring many goals and winning many titles. Thank you very much for the love. Hala Madrid!”
On Monday (30), the forward was sixth in the voting for the men’s Ballon d’Or, and awarded the Socrates Award for his work off the field. He started a foundation to build schools in poor areas, and invest in education in Brazil.
In his time at Real Madrid Vinicius has scored 63 goals in 235 games, and won nine trophies, as two La Liga titles, two Spanish Super Cups, two Club World Cups, the Copa Del Rey and the European Super Cup, plus the 2022 Champions League.
