With Nairo Quintana’s return, speculation arose that the athlete could participate in the Tour of Colombia, which will take place between February 6th and 11th, and the Giro d’Italia, from May 4th to 26th of next year. However, there are still no grounds to prove that the cyclist will remain in the matches.
The Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana is known for being a competition with tiring and laborious routes but, having participated in other years and having secured first place in 2017, Nairo Quintana believes he can perform well to guarantee the final classification.
“I believed, but I believe even more now that I can do beautiful things and contribute to the team. I want to continue representing the brand with the best values, the values of the brand and of Nairo Quintana”, said the athlete when announced as one of the Movistar riders.
