With the injuries, both players will miss this month’s Euro 2024 qualifiers. Denmark will host Slovenia on November 17 and travel to Northern Ireland on November 20. Eriksen and Hojlund replacements are Jesper Lindstrom (Napoli) and Jens Stryger (Trabzonspor).
After the match on Saturday United manager Erik ten Hag spoke about the situation. “At this moment with Rasmus, I can’t say anything about it because I don’t know. We do an assessment but have to wait for 24 hours to see the conclusion and if there is a problem”.
About Eriksen he just said that “Christian slipped, but it is the same”. Manchester United are currently without Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia, Amad Diallo, Casemiro, Jonny Evans and Luke Shaw. Jadon Sancho is still out of the team. Aaron-Wan Bissaka had already recovered from an injury, but missed the Luton Game due to illness.
