However, Ineos Grenadiers coach Kurt Bogaerts had shown signs that Tom Pidcock would be a little more reclusive in his participation: “He competes in several races during the busy final period of the year. And then it doesn’t last long after that. A bit similar to last season. The World Championships? I do not think so”.
Previously, in an interview with Red Bull’s “Just Ride” podcast, presented by Rob Warner and Eliot Jackson, Tom Pidcock had confirmed and commented on his big professional goals for next year, which include competing in the Mountain Bike Olympics in Paris and, participate in the Tour de France.
The cyclist revealed that even though the main cycling competition has a date close to the Olympics, which are just a few days apart, taking place between the months of June and July, he still wants to compete in the two biggest matches in the sport with the aim of continuing with the cross-country mountain bike title he obtained in Tokyo.
