“He has demonstrated, from the first moment, that he is following what we are proposing”, said Lasmar. He also stated that Neymar is “fully committed to regaining full fitness”. He underwent surgery November 2. The recovery from an ACL rupture or tear can be eight to 10 months. It hasn’t been defined when Neymar will return to playing, but he is not expected to return to the pitch until 2024.
Neymar moved to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, in a £77.6m deal, plus add-ons. He only has made five appearances for the team, as he got injured, but scored a goal and two assists.
