“I would like to debate him [Biden] now, because we should debate. We should debate for the good of the country”, said the businessman on a radio program by conservative commentator Dan Bongino.
With that, Joe Biden was then asked by reporters during a trip to Las Vegas on Monday about Trump’s speech, responding: “If I were him, I would want to debate me too. He has nothing to do.”

Furthermore, although he is the clear favorite in the Republican party’s internal race to face Biden in the November 5 election, Trump has not yet confirmed the nomination and has refused Republican opponent Nikki Haley’s request for a debate.
It is worth remembering that Trump and Biden debated twice during the 2020 election. A third debate was canceled after Trump tested positive for Covid-19 and refused to participate in a virtual event.
Traditionally, there are usually three presidential debates in the United States.
