Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre has claimed that former President Donald Trump was not involved in the sex crimes of late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, as revealed by recently released documents.
++ Trump appears in court to ask for immunity
In her January 2016 deposition, as part of litigation between Giuffre’s lawyers and former Epstein defense attorney Alan Dershowitz, Giuffre clarified her view on whether Trump witnessed sexual abuse of minors. “I don’t believe Donald Trump participated in anything. That would have to be another assumption. I never saw or witnessed Donald Trump participating in these acts, but he was at Jeffrey Epstein’s house. I heard so, but I didn’t see him myself, so I don’t know,” Giuffre said.

Although Trump’s name appears on Epstein’s flight logs and his last trip with Epstein appears to have taken place in 1997, Giuffre clarified that she has no direct evidence of his participation. Johanna Sjoberg, another victim of Epstein, also confirmed that she never massaged Trump during her testimony.
Court documents in Giuffre’s case against Ghislaine Maxwell recently began to be released following an order from federal judge Loretta Preska in December. Maxwell is currently detained for sexual crimes committed alongside Epstein. More documents are expected to be gradually released by the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
