In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump expressed his distrust of the losing candidate’s donors seeking to support the winner. He declared, “That’s standard in politics, but it’s not my thing anymore.” Trump was blunt in stating that anyone who made a contribution to Haley’s campaign would be “permanently excluded from the MAGA camp.” He emphasized his position of prioritizing American interests and stated: “We don’t want them and we won’t accept them, because we put America first and we ALWAYS will!”

The use of the nickname “Birdbrain” to refer to Haley highlights a sharp increase in Trump’s rhetoric as he seeks to garner support from various factions within the Republican Party.
