While testifying in court, Ghislaine Maxwell’s former butler, Juan Alessi, said he was forced to clean his mistress’s sex toys. He described the role as “degrading”. “I wasn’t hired to do this kind of work,” he added. He worked at Epstein’s Florida mansion from 1990 to 2002. As Alessi stated, Epstein and Ghislaine’s favorite targets were “young women with serious family problems, poor and unprotected”. In the witness’s assessment, victims could easily fall into the trap of the US$200 to US$300 proposal.
