Burgum stated: “Four years ago, I was representing President Trump at the Iowa caucuses in Sioux City. And today I’m here to do something that none of the other presidential candidates in the primaries have done – and that’s support Donald J. Trump,” he said.

The governor, who was initially one of the candidates in the presidential primaries, withdrew his candidacy in early December without endorsing any competitor.
