It’s important to note that Weiss was originally appointed by Trump.

Hunter Biden, Biden’s youngest son, has been the target of attacks from Trump and his Republican allies, who have accused him of irregularities related to Ukraine and China, among other issues.
Previously, Hunter worked as a lobbyist, lawyer, investment banker and artist. Furthermore, he faced problems related to drug use. When Hunter acquired the gun, he had to fill out a form stating that he did not use drugs, a statement that turned out to be untrue.
