The first two records may look identical, however, the difference between them is that the first refers to any 24-hour period, while the second is specifically for the album’s debut day.
Previously, this record was held by Drake with the album “Certified Lover Boy”, released in 2021, which reached 153.4 million streams in its first 24 hours. It is worth noting that even before midnight on October 22, “Midnights” had already surpassed the rapper’s record.
This is Taylor’s second Guinness World Records entry, only in 2022. She has achieved four titles after the release of “Red (Taylor’s Version)”. 26 songs from the album entered the Billboard Hot 100 on November 27, 2021, breaking three similar but separate records.
