The movie “The Idea of You“ based on a fanfic inspired by Harry Styles and written by Robinne Lee already has its protagonists defined. According to Variety, actors Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine will star in the romantic comedy.

Hathaway will play Solène Marchand, a 40-year-old divorced mother whose husband left her for a younger woman. When he cancels a trip with his 15-year-old daughter to Coachella, Sophie does everything she can to save the weekend and arranges a trip to Indio, California so a teenager doesn’t miss the festival. It is here that she meets 24-year-old Hayes Campbell, lead singer of boyband August Moon, and falls in love with him.

“The Idea of You“ is being produced exclusively for Prime Video and there is still no premiere date. Michael Showalter will be the director responsible for the adaptation. Hathaway also joins the project as an executive producer, alongside the director and writer of the book. Jennifer Westfeldt signs the script.
Nicholas Galitzine gained notability in 2022 after starring in Netflix’s “Purple Hearts”. He also starred in Amazon Studios’ “Cinderella” (2021), starring Camila Cabello.
