After Austin Butler’s magnificent performance in Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis”, it will be Australian Jacob Elordi’s turn to play the role of the King of Rock. Known for playing Nate Jacobs in the series “Euphoria” (HBO), Elordi will play Elvis Presley in the feature film “Priscilla”, an adaptation of the book “Elvis and Me” (1985), the autobiography of Priscilla Presley, the star’s ex-wife.

The narrative must follow the relationship of the ex-couple from when they first met, through their marriage in 1967 and their divorce years later, in 1973. Priscilla will be played by Cailee Spaeny (The Craft Legacy), according to Variety.

With the direction and screenplay adapted by Sofia Coppola, the production will have cinematography by Philippe Le Sourd. Stacey Battat designs the costumes, Sarah Flack does the editing, and Tamara Deverell the production designer.
