Titled “Hard keeping my mouth sewn shut about this one”, Reynolds talks about preparing to live the Marvel character and that he was looking for new ideas to make the feature film debut unforgettable. Then Hugh Jackman appears behind the scenes. Reynolds then asks, “Hey Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?” And he replies, “Yeah, sure, Ryan.”

At the end, the ad also features a parody of the song “I Will Always Love You”, a hit in the voice of Whitney Houston, adding ‘Hugh’ to the end of the song’s chorus.

Hugh Jackman’s last appearance as the character was in “Logan” (2017), the first hero film nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars. Before that, he starred in nine titles in the X-Men franchise playing Wolverine. “Deadpool 3” opens in theaters on September 6, 2024.
