Shows that could be nominated for this year’s Emmy had to premiere between June 2021 and May 2022. “The White Lotus”, “Ted Lasso” and “Succession” were the big winners of the night. Critically acclaimed “Ted Lasso” on Apple TV+ is the best comedy series. An important highlight is the entry of “Round 6” to history: it is the first non-English language production to win an Emmy.
