Tomlinson was visibly uncomfortable when presenters Carrie Bickmore and Peter Heliar began reminiscing about his time in One Direction, taking away the attention he was giving when talking about his world tour.

“There’s been a bit of 1D beef recently thanks to Liam who has been speaking out about the band a little bit. When you look back on your experience with the band, how do you feel about those days?” Peter asked.
“So the fishing has begun already! Yeah, I see what you are doing”,Louis replied. “Listen, I am immensely proud, as I know Liam is. Immensely proud of those days, obviously. It was an incredible thing to do and at a young age. Amazing memories.”
The singer of “Two of Us” was also asked about his thoughts on an upcoming college course focused on Harry Styles that will be offered at a school in Texas next year. After Waleed Aly asking if it “should be him” instead, the star replied: “I don’t really have any interest in having a course about me, to be fair,” Louis responded. “You sound very interested, to be fair. Maybe you should sign up”. After the interview, fans criticized The Project hosts.
One Direction was formed in 2010 by Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Niall. They officially disbanded in 2016, nearly a year after Zayn departed from the band.
