Hailey Bieber talks about the importance of therapy in her life

Last Tuesday (31), Hailey Bieber shared on her YouTube channel a video telling how she takes care of her emotional. The model paid tribute to Mental Health Awareness Month.

Bieber said that “There are several things I like to do to check in with myself” and one of the things that helps is talking to someone.

“It’s something that I felt not sure of in the beginning; but the more I’ve grown my relationship with my therapist, it has been such a game changer for me and it’s a space where I feel really safe to be able to talk about what’s going on in my mind, say things out loud and feel safe and not feel judged.” 

Hailey explained that she has had the help of a professional for 4 years and that, in addition, she likes to spend time in nature, bathe and practice breathing exercises. She reports that these practices helped her in moments of anxiety.

“I’m somebody who struggles with people-pleasing and really wanting everybody to like me and caring a lot about what people have to say and what they think,” she said. Recognizing the harm that social media can cause.
