“Dynasty,” the series starring Elizabeth Gilles, 28, was canceled after five seasons. The CW has decided to end production, which is a reboot of the classic soap opera shown in the 1980s.

Created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the same ones fom the Gossip Girl, debuted in 2017. The production follows the lives of the Carringtongs and Colbys families as they struggle to increase their fortunes, control their children and stop their heirs from destroying the empire they have built.
Currently controlled by Warner and Paramount, The CW is for sale, leaving the attractions future uncertain. Other series have been canceled, “Naomi”, “4400”, “In the Dark”, “Roswell, New Mexico”, “Legacies” and “Charmed”. The series “The Flash”, “Stargirl” and “Superman & Lois” are still being displayed. “Dynasty” is by CBS Studios in association with Fake Empire and is available on Netflix.
