The response comes after Timberlake seemingly took a shot at his former flame during a concert in New York City on Wednesday (31). “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f–king nobody”, says the singer, before singing “Cry Me a River”, which was inspired by Spears.
Earlier this week, Britney shared a post on Instagram, which has since been deleted, to apologize to anyone she had “offended” with her memoir, “The Woman in Me”. She also added: “I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish’ It is soo good”.
Britney’s praise for Timberlake’s song comes after her fan base went into a streaming and buying frenzy with her 2011 song, “Selfish”, to prevent Timberlake’s single from reaching the top of the charts.
