Oscar winner Brad Pitt will star in “The Movie Critic,” the tenth and possibly final film from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. The information is from Deadline.

This will be the third collaboration between the actor and Tarantino, who worked together on Inglourious Basterds and, later, on “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”.
The film grossed more than US$370 million at the box office around the world and won two Oscars ( best supporting actor for Pitt and best art direction) from 10 nominations.

So, initially, it was thought that The Movie Critic would be about the film critic Pauline Kael, one of the most respected in US history, but the director ruled out this possibility.
The film “is based on a guy who actually lived, but was never really famous, and used to write movie reviews for a porn magazine,” Tarantino revealed [via Variety].
Furthermore, the filmmaker, who worked as a stockist for intimate content magazines, said that at the time “all other things were too vulgar to read, but there was this magazine with a really interesting film page.”
