Actor Steven Yeun, recognized for his roles in “The Walking Dead” and “Treta”, has chosen to leave the cast of “Thunderbolts”, a Marvel film scheduled to premiere in 2025. In an interview with Variety, Yeun expressed regret over abandon the project and cited last year’s Hollywood actors and screenwriters’ strike, and the subsequent delay in the film’s production, as one of the reasons for his decision.

Yeun revealed that it took reviewing several draft emails to sincerely convey his feelings of regret about giving up on the project. He further emphasized his desire to appear in a Marvel film at some point in his career. When asked which film he would like to be in, Yeun responded, “I think it’s too early to say that. I probably made a lot of people uncomfortable by leaving, so I’ll just say, ‘Thank you for having me.'”
