The artist stated that the articles published about her, as well as her divorce with the actor, helped her to overcome the end of the relationship. “It wasn’t bad. I think, you know, I have to say the press was very respectful and very kind. And I thought they were going to make up more stuff and you know how it usually goes,” she said.
After rumors that they were close to breaking up, in July last year, Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello published a statement reporting that they were separating. Close sources claim that the decision came from the actor as they had been distancing themselves for some time and soon after, the actor filed the request citing “irreconcilable differences”.
