As disclosed in a note on Instagram, the incident occurred when Carrie was at a food truck stand, being hit by a man of approximately 40 years old who was fleeing from the police, and was visibly intoxicated. According to reports, a friend of the actress and other people present, along with three agents, were also injured in the episode.
