“These casting decisions are made at a level far above me, of course, but I would love to be a part of this franchise. I’ve been a fan of the comics since childhood, and there are dozens of stories I’m familiar with that haven’t been told yet,” commented.

Hamm also cites the X-Men and the Fantastic Four as heroes who have not yet had their potential explored, and spoke of Doctor Doom as a key character in this sense.

“I hope that whatever their plans are, those plans include me. I know they don’t suffer from a lack of actors wanting to participate in their productions, but I’m here,” he added.

Fantastic Four will be directed by Matt Shakman (WandaVision), who has already revealed in interviews that the film will be filmed in 2024.

Josh Friedman (Avatar: The Way of Water, Terminator: Dark Fate) is responsible for the script for Fantastic Four, which should have Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards – the rest of the cast has not yet been defined.

The film is scheduled to premiere on May 2, 2025.
