“Anyone who knows me knows that I am a programming executive who is very passionate about the series we decide to make”.

“And for the people who make them and the people who work on them”, said Bloys this Thursday morning (2), at the beginning of a presentation at HBO headquarters in New York [via Variety].

“I want the shows to be great. I want people to love them. I want all of you to love them. It’s really important to me what you all think of our shows”.

“So when you think about that mindset and go back to 2020 and 2021, I’m at home, working and spending an unhealthy amount of time on Twitter. And I have a really stupid idea to vent my frustration.”

HBO is one of the largest content producers in the world and has highly successful series in its catalog, such as Game of Thrones, Westworld and The Sopranos.

Bloys’ attitude could negatively impact the network’s image and generate distrust among critics and the general public in the future. Creating fake accounts to attack critics is a reprehensible practice.
