Courteney Cox, Monica from Friends, published a tribute to Matthew Perry on her social media this Tuesday (14). Playing Chandler in the series, Perry died in October, aged 54.

“I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day”, wrote, in the caption of a post on social media, with an image of the iconic scene in which Chandler and Monica spend the night together in London.
“When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are a few thousand moments I wish I could share. For now, here’s one of my favorites,” she continued.
“To give a little backstory, Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one night fling in London. But because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story.
In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say.

With this, Cox is the second actress from the main cast of Friends to publish a tribute to Perry. Earlier, Matt LeBlanc was the first to post a tribute. “It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye,” he wrote. “The times we were together are honestly some of my favorite times in my life.”
It is worth remembering that together, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer had issued a joint statement on the 30th, in which they said they would speak more when they had processed part of their grief.
The five were present at Perry’s funeral, which took place in Los Angeles.
