Pre-sales for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras” tour film have surpassed the $100 million mark globally, establishing it as the best-selling concert film of all time. This information was released on Thursday (5) by cinema operator AMC, which is a partner in the launch.

According to the company, Taylor Swift’s film is on track to surpass “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never,” which grossed $99 million in its debut in 2011. It’s worth noting that 2009’s “This Is It,” which grossed US$261 million, it is not categorized as a concert film, as it only documents the preparations for Michael Jackson’s performance, who died before taking the stage.

Jeff Bock, an analyst at the specialized company Exhibitor Relations, predicts that “The Eras” will earn more than US$100 million at the box office in its first three days of exhibition, from October 13th to 15th, in North America alone.
