“I have notes and notes [for possible] John Wick 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,” Chad Stahelski revealed to website Inverse. “We have ideas to discuss for days. But we simply don’t have the story wrapped up. I have no interest in making a money grab, a slot machine, or bringing John Wick back for something,” he continued.
Although plans for John Wick 5 remain secret, the saga will continue with some derivatives, such as the miniseries The Continental (which debuted on September 22 on Prime Video) and the film Ballerina (in June 2024 in theaters).

Therefore, the continuity of the franchise is not at all surprising. John Wick has proven to be a success with audiences and critics since the first film, released in 2014. Together, the four features have grossed more than US$1 billion at the global box office.
Beyond that, the new film, ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ achieved a 95% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, making it the highest-rated chapter in the franchise on the site. The previous films gained 86%, 89% and 89% approval, respectively.
