Thus, a Los Angeles judge’s decision exempts the pop singer from giving the amount that was offered as a reward.
Namely, the lawsuit filed by McBride began in February. The American took legal action for not having received the money promised by the singer to anyone who found the lost animals.
With this, the woman’s argument is that she only took possession of Gaga’s dogs to return them – but the claim was rejected by the US courts.

The lawsuit, according to information from Entertainment Weekly, accused Gaga of offering the money “with the intent to defraud and induce people to trust her and attempt to locate and deliver the bulldogs.”
But McBride herself already had problems in court: she was indicted for her involvement in the case, as she pleaded no contest to charges of receiving stolen property.
Thus, the woman was one of five people arrested after the attack on Lady Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, and the theft of her two dogs Koji and Gustav. For this reason, she was arrested in 2021 and accused of being an accomplice.
As a result, she was sentenced to two years of probation after pleading no contest to a charge of receiving stolen property, according to the publication.
