Host Jimmy Fallon has apologized to his coworkers for the allegations outlined in a Rolling Stone story published on Thursday (7), about the toxic work environment on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” the magazine reported.

“You never knew which Jimmy we were going to find and when he was going to lose his composure,” a former employee told the magazine.

The program even had a “crying room” for employees to deal with the hostile environment. Additionally, reports surfaced that Fallon appeared intoxicated during rehearsals and didn’t remember to cut jokes in his notes.

So, during a Zoom call with the crew of “The Tonight Show” held after the story was published, Fallon reportedly said that “I feel really bad. I’m sorry if I embarrassed you, your families and friends,” Fallon declared during the virtual meeting.

“I want this show to be fun, inclusive for everyone, funny, it should be the best show, with the best people.”

NBC, which airs the “Tonight Show,” declined to comment. But showrunner Chris Miller sent an email to the team stating that he feels “lucky” and “proud” to work with the group and disputed Rolling Stone’s description of the work environment.
