Republican Party presidential candidate Nikki Haley expressed her congratulations to Donald Trump for his victory in the New Hampshire Republican primaries this Tuesday (23), as projected by CNN. However, the former South Carolina governor emphasized that she will remain active in the competition.

“Tonight, I want to congratulate Donald Trump on his victory. He deserved it, and it’s important to recognize that,” Haley declared shortly after CNN’s projection of Trump’s victory in the New Hampshire primaries. She highlighted that the dispute within the party is far from over, with many states yet to hold votes, and expressed expectations for the primaries in her home state, South Carolina, scheduled for February 24.

Haley emphasized the importance of remembering that New Hampshire represents only the beginning of the voting process in the country, and is not the last step. His remark received applause from his supporters.

One of Trump’s advisers revealed that there are plans to expand the candidate’s operations in crucial states, including Georgia, Arizona and Michigan, where the Republican faced defeats in 2020. Trump’s team anticipates fierce competition in these states in a possible rematch with the President Joe Biden.
