However, amidst the controversy and with the aim of ending speculation, the company that provides consultancy and business management for Cian Uijdebroeks’ career reported that the athlete terminated his contract with the German team on December 1st of this year, claiming that the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is aware of the change and what measures will be applied in court.
Previously, according to an interview with the website Het Laatste Nieuws, Jumbo-Visma coach Richard Plugge announced that he intends to hire Cian Uijtdebroeks after the cyclist’s contract ends with his current team, Bora-Hansgrohe, at the end of the next year.
