Bellingham scored his 14th goal of the season on Sunday’s (26) 3-0 win at Cádiz, and Real Madrid returned to the top of La Liga. The midfielder now has the most goals by any Real Madrid player in their first 15 games.

The previous record was 13 goals, held jointly by Cristiano Ronaldo, Alfredo di Stefano and Pruden. Bellingham has 11 goals in 12 La Liga games, and three more in the Champions League, since he joined the team from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
Real went into Sunday’s game two points behind Girona and opened the scoring early on through Brazilian forward Rodrygo. He doubled the score in the second half. Bellingham scored the third goal to seal Real’s third win in a row.
Real are without striker Vinicius Jr., who picked up an injury during the international break. Rodrygo has been making up for his absence, scoring for the first time in three consecutive games since arriving from Santos in 2019.
