Susan Sarandon was the most artist to be excluded from work for declaring support for Palestinians. The Besouro Azul actress was released by the United Talent Agency (UTA) after numerous speeches, which was confirmed by the website Deadline.

The Oscar winner participated in pro-Palestinian demonstrations. In one of the demonstrations, Susan compared the rise in anti-Semitism to the experience of Muslims in the country.

“There are a lot of people who are afraid of being Jewish right now and are experiencing what it is like to be Muslim in this country,” she said.

The speech generated much criticism from both Jews and Muslims. She also shared on X (formerly Twitter) a post in support of Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters. Since the beginning of the conflicts between Israel and Hamas, artists have been criticized by supporters of both sides due to their positions and dismissal from work. As in the case of Mia Khalifa, who was fired from Playboy for defending Hamas attacks.
