Thus, the confirmation comes after months of uncertainty regarding the showing of the 81st edition of the Golden Globes.
The search for new partners began after Dick Clark Productions and Eldridge acquired the rights to the ceremony from the HFPA (Hollywood Foreign Press Association) in June this year.
It is worth remembering that previously, the CEO of Eldridge Industries, Todd Boehly, commented that there was the possibility of the ceremony being broadcast on streaming.

“We are very proud to bring the Golden Globes to CBS to celebrate the award’s 81-year history,” said Jay Penske, CEO of Penske Media, a company owned by Dick Clark Productions. “CBS has demonstrated a 30-year commitment to the Grammys, and that has been instrumental to its success.”
With this, the 2024 Golden Globes are scheduled for January 7, 2024 and will be the first since the dissolution of the Hollywood Foreign Press, after years of accusations of corruption and bribery.
