Earlier this year, while wishing his Twitter followers a happy new year, Hugh Jackman joked about having to put up with Ryan Reynolds while they work on the new ‘Deadpool’ film.

At the time, fans theorized that the star had accidentally revealed the title of the sequel.
This is because, instead of referring to the film as ‘Deadpool 3’, Jackman called the film ‘Wolverine and Deadpool’, probably indicating that the production would be officially called that.
However in a recent interview with the website WIRED, the director of the film Shawn Levy discussed the matter and mentioned some possibilities discussed internally.
“No, there’s no [official] title yet. Sometimes I refer to it as Deadpool vs. Wolverine or Deadpool and Wolverine or Deadpool 3 with Wolvie – we have a few titles we’re discussing, but man, it’s hard,” Levy said.

This will be the first Deadpool film after Disney’s acquisition of Fox and the first to take place in the official MCU chronology.
It is worth remembering that the two previous films, from 2016 and 2018, together grossed more than US$1.5 billion at the global box office.
As a result, the first Deadpool was directed by Tim Miller and the sequel, released in 2018, was directed by David Leitch.
‘Deadpool 3′ is directed by Shawn Levy and the official premiere is scheduled for May 3, 2024, but it may undergo changes considering that the film’s recordings were halted due to the actors’ strike.
