This Friday (24), Charlie Puth released the single “Left and Right”, which will be on his third studio album. The song is a partnership with Jungkook, a member of BTS. The rousing song marks Jungkook’s first solo effort after the K-pop group announced an indefinite hiatus. In the lyrics, the two artists talk about a love from the past in a very fun way.
The track also won a music video, directed by Drew Kirsch, who has worked with artists like Willow Smith Taylor Swift and Niall Horan, and shows Charlie going to a psychologist to forget about his old love. On a white background, Puth and Jungkook sing and dance together. The video for “Left And Right” has now surpassed 3 million views on YouTube and remains number one in the world on the platform.

Recently in an interview with the radio “Z100 New York”, Charlie talked a little about what it was like to share work with the K-Pop singer. According to him, Jungkook’s name came up immediately as soon as he finished composing. He still remembered an old encounter.
“We have musical history together. We had performed at an awards show four years earlier,” Puth said, referring to the MBC Plus X Genie Music Awards ceremony in South Korea in 2018. “He always talked about me in interviews, and I always talked about him in interviews. I love natural and real-life collaborations.”
