Sophie Turner has asked a judge to ‘reactivate’ her divorce from Joe Jonas, after failed attempts to resolve child custody and assets.

According to Miami court documents submitted by Turner, it states “that the abatement has come to an end and this case is to be re-activated”. Jonas filed for divorce from the actress in September 2023, after four years of marriage.

The singer claimed that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken”. The break-up quickly turned acrimonious, as Sophie sued the singer in New York Federal Court, claiming that he had kidnapped her daughters by withholding their passports.
The pair reached a temporary child custody agreement, which meant that their daughters, Willa, 3, and Delphine, 21 months, were transported back and forth between the UK and the US over the festive season.
