Gomez appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Friday (23), and was asked about the news of a Wizards of Waverly Place “reboot”. She quickly corrected the host Jimmy Kimmel saying: “It’s not a reboot. It’s gonna be a different version, I guess”.

The project of the show revival was announced in January by Selena and her co-star David Henrie. “It’s gonna be really fun. I was excited to bring the characters back”, said Selena. They will reprise their holes from the Disney Channel show that aired from 2007 from 2012.
David Henrie will reprise his role as Justin Russo as a series regular, while Selena is slated to be just a guest star in the pilot episode as her character Alex Russo. They both serve as executive producers on the series.
